Prof. Tsai-Ming Lin, MD, PhD

A distinguished, board-certified plastic surgeon from Taiwan, internationally acclaimed for his pioneering work in facial rejuvenation and fat grafting–based facelift enhancement. The originator of the Micro-Autologous Fat Transplantation (MAFT) theory and the inventor of the MAFT-GUN, a micro-scale fat injection system that has redefined precision, safety, and predictability in facial fat grafting. His innovations have become foundational tools in modern facelift surgery, particularly in achieving natural contour restoration, skin quality improvement, and long-term volumetric stability.

Professor lin currently serves as Director of the Charming Institute of Aesthetic & Regenerative Surgery (CIARS) in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and as an Assistant Professor at Kaohsiung Medical University. He is an active member of major international societies including ISAPS, ASPS, and ISPRES, and serves on the editorial board of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
